Lance Whitehouse

Based in Melton Mowbray Lance Whitehouse is a British showjumping rider who began riding at just 3 years of age and at the age of 10 was already winning in the showjumping arena with ponies. Lance has had many wins including winning the young riders championship at Olympia as well as victories and placings at classes at some of Europe`s most prestigious shows.

In 2011 Lance relocated his business from Australia to the UK to pursue his ambitions of competing at the top levels of eventing. Lance grew up on his parents farm in Tasmania, Australia, Lance has worked with a broad range of amazing trainers in dressage, eventing and natural horsemanship.

Competing in both Australia and England, Lane has produced horses that have gone on to compete at 3* and 4* events, including royal venture who represented the USA in Kentucky and Luhmuhlen horse trials.

Lance was previously based in the UK in 1997 working for and training with Olympic rider Karen Dixon (MBE), other trainers include Jenny Leggate in Scotland and Manolo Mendex (Head of Spanish riding school)  Lance Plunkett
